Insert a penny into your tire’s grooves with Lincoln's head facing in. If you can still see the top of Abe's head, your tread is too worn, and your tire should be replaced. Learn more tips for how to check your tread depth.
Our service begins with a careful internal and external inspection of your tire by one of our tire technicians to determine the cause and extent of any damage. This allows us to determine if your tire can be repaired or will need to be replaced.
If your flat tire, run-flat tire, or underinflated tire is fixable, we’ll repair it in accordance with the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) guidelines by plugging or patching any punctures from the inside.
If your tire can’t be repaired, we’ll let you know that it's time to buy a new tire. Should you choose to purchase with us, we'll help you find a quality new one suited to your needs. We’ll also rebalance your tires, and if necessary, reactivate your tire pressure monitoring system.
If your tire is flat, a tire repair can help you avoid purchasing a new tire before your old one has reached the end of its useful life. And if it’s leaking air slowly, a repair will help it maintain its air pressure, to help you avoid an unexpected flat before it happens.
Keep an eye on your tires by inspecting them at least once a month for signs of damage. If you see damage, or if you are experiencing continuous pressure loss, come see us so we can dismount the tire in question to inspect it and determine if a repair can be made."

We do not recommend driving on a flat tire unless you have EMT (Extended Mobility Technology) or run flat tires. Continuing to drive on a normal flat tire could cause damage to the rim, while also providing less traction and introducing a potentially hazardous situation.
Run flat tires are tires that allow you to continue driving on a flat tire, for a longer period of time than a non-run flat tire. Note that run flat tires have specific speed and distance limitations, depending on the manufacturer specifications. Additionally, they provide optimal convenience and storage space in your vehicle since you don’t have to carry a spare.
Run flat tires can be purchased from most tire manufacturers, including Goodyear. Keep in mind that not all vehicles can be fitted with run flat tires, so visit one of our local locations, and our tire technicians will help you determine which tires fit your vehicle.
Spare tires can be purchased from most tire manufacturers, including Goodyear. You may purchase spare tires for your vehicle at our local locations.
